FAQ

Common questions

Honest answers about 24-hour care.

How is 24-Hour Care different from Live-in Care?

Live-in care is typically a single care professional living in the home, on hand during the night but sleeping. 24-hour care is an active, continuous presence delivered by a rotating team — suited to more complex or high-risk needs.

Will it always be the same team?

Yes — a small, consistent rotation. Every care professional who comes through the door will have been properly introduced beforehand through our no-stranger policy.

Is this the right level of care for advanced dementia?

It can be — depending on the specific needs. Some people with advanced dementia do well with live-in care; others benefit from 24-hour care. We will help you weigh up the options honestly and without pressure.

How quickly can it be arranged?

We will always do our best to put 24-hour care in place as quickly as your situation requires. Please call us and we will do everything we can to help.
