A Relationship-Led Model of Care
The way we care is just as important as the care itself. This page explains what you can expect from us — the values that guide every decision, the steps we take to get care right, and the answers to the questions we are asked most.
Trust is built on genuine connection
The best care is built on trust — and trust is built on genuine connection. We bring together our care professionals, our management team, families, and wider healthcare professionals to work as one around the person we support. Because when everyone is connected, relationships flourish, outcomes improve, and the people we care for truly thrive.
The Client Experience
Your journey to the right support — step by step. We have designed our process to feel as gentle, clear, and guided as possible — so that at every stage, you feel listened to, supported, and completely in control.
Step 1
A Friendly Conversation
It starts with a simple conversation — no forms, no pressure, no commitment. We listen to what you or your loved one needs, answer every question honestly, and help you understand what support might look like.
Step 2
A Free Home Visit
We come to you. We take the time to truly understand the whole person — your routines, your preferences, your wishes, and the life you want to continue living. This is never a tick-box exercise.
Step 3
A Care Plan Built Around You
Together with you and your family, we build a care plan that is entirely personal — one that reflects who you are, what matters to you, and the outcomes that will make the biggest difference to your life.
Step 4
Meeting Your Care Professional
We carefully match you with a care professional who is right for you — not just in skills, but in personality and values. Before care begins, we make a proper introduction, so from the very first visit there is already a familiar, reassuring face at the door.
Step 5
Care That Grows With You
Your needs may change over time — and your care will change with them. We review your care plan regularly, stay in close contact with you and your family, and make sure the support we provide always reflects where you are now.
Principles that guide every decision
These principles guide every interaction, every care plan, and every decision we make. They are the foundation of our service.
Personal
We provide care that is tailored to the individual. We take time to understand each person's needs, preferences, and life story so that support feels personal and respectful.
Respect
We treat every person with dignity, compassion, and kindness, recognising their individuality, identity, and right to make choices about their own lives.
Our Promise
Our promise is to deliver care with the same compassion, patience, and attention that we would want for our own families.
Meaningful Care
We believe meaningful care takes time. Our support focuses on building genuine connections and enriching the lives of those we support.
Integrity
We act with honesty, professionalism, and accountability in everything we do, ensuring the trust placed in us is always respected.
Supporting Life Beyond Care
Care should help people continue living the life they value. We support individuals to stay connected with their communities, interests, and relationships.
Excellence
We continuously strive to improve the quality of our service so that every person receives the highest standard of care.
Frequently Asked Questions
The questions we hear most often — answered honestly.
How quickly can care start?
We understand that sometimes the need for care arises quickly and unexpectedly. We will always do our very best to have support in place as soon as possible — in many cases within a matter of days. Please call us and we will do everything we can to help.
How much does home care cost?
The cost of care depends on how often visits are required and the duration of each visit. We are always transparent about our pricing and will provide a clear, detailed breakdown following your free home visit — with no hidden costs and no surprises. If you would like a general idea before then, please do not hesitate to call us for an honest conversation.
Can we change the care plan if needs change?
Absolutely. We expect care plans to evolve — life changes, and care should change with it. We review every care plan regularly and welcome your feedback at any time. If something needs to change, simply let us know and we will act on it promptly.
What happens if our regular care professional is unwell or on holiday?
We plan carefully for exactly this situation. Through our no-stranger policy, we ensure that any care professional who covers for your regular care professional will already have been introduced to your loved one beforehand — so there is never an unfamiliar face at the door. Continuity and reassurance always come first.
Are your care professionals insured and fully vetted?
Yes, completely. Every care professional we employ holds an enhanced DBS check, is directly employed by us — never through an agency — and is fully insured. They go through a robust recruitment process and are trained in-house to the highest standard.
Will my loved one always have the same carer?
Yes — and this matters deeply to us. We build a small, dedicated team of familiar care professionals around each person we support. Through our no-stranger policy, everyone who visits your loved one will have been properly introduced beforehand, so there are never any unexpected faces at the door.
How will I know how my loved one's visit went?
Every care professional logs in and out of each visit through our dedicated app and records their care notes at the end of every visit. With your loved one's agreement, family members can be given access to our family app, where they can view visit logs and care notes directly — so you can check in at any time, from anywhere. Of course, we are always available to speak to directly as well.
What if my loved one is resistant to having care?
This is one of the most common concerns families share with us — and it is completely understandable. Many people feel apprehensive about accepting help at first. We approach every introduction gently and without pressure, taking time to build trust naturally. Often, once someone meets their care professional and experiences the difference it makes, any resistance softens very quickly.
Will I have a say in who my care professional is?
Always. We take great care in matching each person with the right care professional — taking into account not just practical needs but personality, interests, and values. We will always introduce a care professional properly before care begins, and if for any reason the match does not feel right, we will find a better fit.
Ready to talk through what care could look like?
We can explain the next step, answer questions honestly, and help you understand what would be right for your family. No pressure, just clarity.
